Yusen Logistics Opens Temperature and Humidity Controlled Facility in Suzhou, China

Suzhou Yusen Logistics Service Co., Ltd., a warehousing subsidiary of Yusen Logistics located in Suzhou, China, has opened a temperature and humidity controlled chamber at its general bonded zone warehouse in the Suzhou Industrial Park.

Yusen Logistics offers a selection of bonded logistics services at the Suzhou operation. Two hour’s drive from Shanghai Pudong International Airport and 90 minutes from the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Port, the facility serves as an export-import logistics hub for customers doing business in Eastern China.

With 5,000m2 warehousing space, the company provides bonded storage, packaging, labeling and other logistics services to electronics parts manufacturers, materials manufacturers and other customers through its bonded logistics scheme. Recently, there has been an increase in demand for precision goods requiring strict temperature and humidity control. In response, Suzhou Yusen Logistics installed a temperature- and humidity-control system in the warehouse.

The new equipment enables rigorous management of temperature and humidity 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including temperature and humidity adjustment and recording. Warehousing rooms can be divided to provide dynamic and meticulous temperature settings. Japanese staff are also assigned to the site full-time to provide urgent response and other services.

To strengthen its position as a total logistics provider, Suzhou Yusen Logistics plans to collaborate with Group companies in China to offer air and ocean forwarding along with LTL services to further enhance its quality of services in the future.
