Companies in Poland will benefit from expanded contract logistics services from Yusen Logistics Poland, thanks to a new warehouse with a range of logistics operations opening in Gdansk, in the north of Poland.
Yusen Logistics is a world leading provider of contract logistics and international freight forwarding, creating solutions ranging from standalone operations to global supply chains.
Gdansk is the ideal choice for expansion: it is the largest and fastest growing container facility in the Baltic Sea Region, and it has a regular train connection with Xi’an in China, via Malaszewicze.
Yusen Logistics Poland, a subsidiary of Yusen Logistics Europe, already has a long-term presence in Poland, operating there since 2001, which translates into many satisfied customers across different industries.
The new Gdansk branch will strengthen the development of contract logistics services in Poland, offering a new modern warehouse facility of 12,500 sqm with a full range of logistics operations – mainly pick and pack, consolidation/deconsolidation and a co-packing service that can be performed within a bonded space or based on a VMI solution at the Gdansk facility. The warehouse operations will be supported by an outstanding and easily configurable warehouse management service (WMS) and Yusen’s own IT team.
Marek Więckowicz, Managing Director Yusen Logistics Poland, said: “This modern facility is supposed to add to our footprint in the CEE area and will definitely strengthen Yusen Logistics Poland within contract logistics services we offer to our customers.”
The new branch will be a milestone in Yusen’s constant and stable development in the logistics market in Poland, and we hope it will attract new business partners.
