Yusen Logistics Antwerp Healthcare Center was added to Yusen's GDP network in 2018. Taking up a total of  26,000 sqm, the bonded, GDP-licensed warehouse dedicated to pharmaceutical products is equipped with an 'ambient' storage facility (15-25°C) with a capacity of approximately 27,000 pallet places and a cold store (2-8°C) section with a capacity of more than 4,000 pallets.

The state-of-the-art Antwerp Healthcare Center operates almost completely autonomously: it features among others a narrow aisle racking installation with induction-driven, unmanned trucks that locate the correct pallet through sensor-controlled positioning.

All our employees involved in handling healthcare products are continuously receiving training in the handling of GDP-related products and packaging.
