Gold Cold Transport Sdn Bhd, Gold Cold Integrated Logistics Sdn Bhd and Yusen Logistics (Australia) Pty. Ltd. obtained GDP certification

The subsidiaries of TASCO YUSEN GOLD COLD SDN BHD, Gold Cold Transport Sdn Bhd (GCT) and Gold Cold Integrated Logistics Sdn Bhd (GCIL) which in turn are the subsidiaries of TASCO BERHAD (TASCO, Chief Executive Officer: ANDY LEE WAN KAI) and Yusen Logistics (Australia) Pty. Ltd. (Chief Executive Officer: Hirokazu Noguchi) have obtained Good Distribution Practice (GDP) certification.


GCT and GCIL obtained GDP certification on September 21st, based on the guidelines of the Ministry of Health of Malaysia and NPRA⁽*⁾. This makes it possible to manage medical and pharmaceutical products as well as provide warehousing and transportation services. TASCO venture into cold chain business via the acquisition of GCT and GCIL which completed in year 2017 and 2018 respectively. In addition, Yusen Logistics (Australia) Pty. Ltd. acquired GDP certification for air freight transportation at two locations in Sydney and Melbourne on February 24th.


Our Group are globally strengthening medical and pharmaceutical logistics. Currently, a total of 43 operation bases in 24 countries and regions around the world are compliance with our global GDP standards, and are working to further expand our GDP network. With the acquisition of GDP certification in Malaysia and Australia, we will further expand global high-quality pharmaceutical logistics operations, providing supply chain logistics services that meet our customer needs.
